AOIR or better known as the Association of IMVU and other Realms - is an organization which provides stability and compatability in roleplay through a system of rules for all who hold membership. A dedicated organization which ensures that the bill of rights of roleplayers is abided by.
We are a federation made up of diffrent guilds ran by diffrent kingdoms who have come together by establishing a set of mandates in which we follow.
While AOIR provides the basic structure for guilds in the form of laws and mandates, the internal structure of individual guilds is their business solely and the realm will not interfere with internal guild affairs. Collectively however the AOIR's over-all objective is to make sure that justice within the IMVU Rp community is served; That there is a recognition of all kingdoms and realms - their activities and members - history etc.; To aide all new players to roleplay and teach them properly; and That those who attempt to violate and disrupt the flow of rp are exploited so that the IMVU community as a whole can ignore/boot/ban the account/user who is causing issues and wrong doing.
Kingdom Guilds are able to partake in Guild wars which is more-so a FUN roleplay experience rather than something based off of hatred for other guilds. It promotes Kingdom Strength, based off of our point system - and aids in keeping people active in kingdoms.
(Guild Wars are diffrent From Factions Wars)

[dealings that are not part of the story line], or in any situation maliciously maligns their fellow Associates will be dealt with accordingly so long as it is proven sufficiently by snapshot proof, and chat-log proof.
Expulsion from the Association. (an expelled guild may reapply after 6 months.)
TREASON :: Guilds or individuals that knowingly coerce, hinder, commit subterfuge, or otherwise utilize surreptitious methods to bring discredit to AOIR will be expelled and exiled - never to return to the AOIR.

At AOIR official meetings:
Please do not disrupt the person having the floor, nor speak out of turn. Thinking out loud and unnecessary movements are a hinderance and should not occur.
2. If you have a question, please place [?] in the room.
If you wish to comment, please place [!] in the room.
If you have another topic pending that you wish to speak on after the current one concludes , please add #.
3. Once you have finished with what you need to say, please use G/A (which means "Go Ahead") to allow for either a follow up from someone you are speaking to or the next person in the queue to be able to speak. At times it is very clear that a member has concluded, such as when a person states "I am finished", that is fine, and will be recognized as well. You will promptly be added to the "queue" and called upon with it is your turn to speak.
4. Do not blurt out questions and comments while another is currently speaking.

What it means to put [AOIR] as a tag on your room card.
Firstly please do not simply just put AOIR in your room card without actually joining the AOIR you will end up on our non-registered list. Please take the time to fill out the document and turn it into us - if completed correctly we will add you to the registered list.
Should your room ever be deleted or closed please inform us ASAP.
Once you have been added to our registered list. Your kindom and information will be added to this website for all of the IMVU community to see. This means that you have become a member of the AOIR - and as such you are required to make a guild within your kingdom to represent your kingdom at AOIR monthly meetings. Once you have done so you may add [AOIR] to your room card as a tag - this will allow all of hose who view or enter your room that you are apart of the organization and you will not tolerate the disrespecting of roleplayers - roleplayers who come in and cause drama or mix/meta-game/god-mod nor will you tolerate to much ooc insulting and ego flashing - you wish to bring about peace within the rp community and make rp fun once again for everyone by doing more rp in rp rooms while keeping ooc in ooc rooms.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are occasions when someone makes him/herself entirely unwelcome in an tagged AOIR room. The most effective means of silencing such people is the ignore rule (When everyone in the room ignores the person) and if absolutely needed the boot button may be applied. Use of this makes the irritant disappear. Remember, it is impossible to insult someone, or start a fight with someone, if they refuse to fight with you. If everyone who objects were to utilize the ignore rule, the one attempting to start problems would soon go away, defeated, and just because you have power doesn't mean you should be boot happy and use it how you please.
Any situation where the boot button is used against another AOIR member must be documented in an orb which clearly demonstrates the circumstances. (Meaning snapshot and chatlog proof) Reports to the IMVU Gods (ToS) may or may not be part of the process. The following guidelines apply:
A. An individual who enters a room and engages in OOC harassment and/or disruption of the room may be booted without penalty. (Subject to documentation as stated above.)
B. On occasion there may be instances of extremes in IC harassment or activity where the room owner feels he or she has no choice but to utilize the boot button. Should this occur and produce evidence at the monthly meeting (both a snapshot and the chatlog) so that the culprit may be added if need be to the blacklist.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Remember, we are here to role play. Please respect those who wish to participate in character and keep OOC conversations separate from (outside of) the IC setting. The AOIR does not involve itself in OOC disputes nor has any obligation to resolve them. Individuals who have been subjected to OOC harassment do have the right to protect themselves by blocking the ability of others to view their presence in this realm. AOIR will not penalize this action.
It is especially offensive to the spirit of roleplay gaming to approach a AOIR member OOC with accusations, insults and other hostile ways regarding rp business. Concerns are intended to be dealt with IC.
